Terri is no stranger at all to the Gospel Music Industry and is a Native of Okmulgee, Oklahoma born to Elsworth and Carrie Biglow Lewis. She is married to a devoted man of God, Evangelist and Assistant Pastor of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Rev. Roy McConnell and they have 5 children. Her professional background had been nursing, however she is now blessed with a dynamic Music Ministry and is a National Recording Artist.
She started singing solo’s when she was a little girl along side
her father and his local Gospel Quartet Group and she has been singing
every since. She developed a love for singing praises to God and never
stopped. As she grew up she began leading songs for the children’s
church choir. At age twelve she asked her parents for a piano. Since
she was the oldest of eight girls in her family, there wasn’t much
extra money for private lessons. Her desire to play was so strong that
her parents bought her the piano. She would set for hours after school
picking out songs one note at a time until she could successfully play “Jesus
Keep Me Near The Cross”. Little did people know, God was already
preparing her for ministry.
Terri formed her first group singing with her sisters (The Lewis Singers),
and were well known for there sincerity and for ushering in the Holy
Spirit so that God could do what only he could do which is change lives
forever. When they sang, the anointing would fall so heavy until lives
were changed and they were never the same.
As she continued her walk in singing, she became the Minister of Music
in her local church as well as Praise and Worship leader for over twenty
years.
Terri is now a developed singer and has devoted her life to sharing good Gospel Music, with excellence where ever she goes.
In 2003 she asked God for something that would allow her to take the
good news to the world.
She recorded her first project with the renowned and much respected producer, “Sanchez
Harley”.

where Mr. Troy Sneed is owner and CEO.

show himself even the more to others that if you wait on him, he will
open the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing that you don’t
have room enough to receive.

Singing is just a few of the things that keep her busy. From working in her local church, to jail ministry, to taking in children that doesn’t have a mom or dad. She realizes that she alone cannot save the world, but she is determined to do her part.
In 2002, she gave birth to a ministry that God gave her to create opportunity
for others to be heard.
The Oklahoma Summer Gospel Fest was founded and birthed out of a desire
to present and create a platform for new and upcoming Gospel Artist an
opportunity to showcase their Talents and be heard by people in the Oklahoma
area as well as other areas that normally would not ever get the chance
to sing before record labels and the movers and shakers of the music
industry.
Terri’s utmost focus is that God will get all the “Honor” from
what He has called and blessed her to do through Music. She will continue
to uphold a “standard” of living that will be pleasing and
acceptable unto God while singing praises and lifting her voice to the “Glory
of God”!!!
